Provides good heat dissipation, hardness, good colour stability, excellent chemical resistance, impact resistance, abrasion resistance, high heat requirements, and good corrosion resistance. Weapon Kote Dry film lubricants form a dry layer or coating that excludes moisture and reduces friction. Weapon Kote dry lubricant finishes (or solid lubricant coatings, or dry lube coatings) are thin film coatings with extremely low coefficient of friction. The coating can be used in metal against metal sliding or rotating contact applications as well as release applications for plastic molding, extrusion, and materials processing. These coatings are extremely thin, providing negligible dimensional change to your parts.

Teflon (PTFE) Finish:
This is based on our Weapon Kote Finish But contains a high concentration of Teflon (PTFE). This finish provides excellent dry film properties.
